Beaton, Cameron McLellan Cameron MacLellan Beaton Cameron MacLellan Beaton 62, of Ventura died Wednesday, May 26, 2004, from complications resulting from a stroke. Cameron was born May 22, 1942, in Hartford, Conn., and had been a resident of Ventura County for more than 20 years. Cameron is survived by daughters Chandra, Tiki and Wendy, all of Ventura; son, Lance of New Mexico; daughter Elissa of New Mexoco, sister Janet Goldman of New Hampshire; and brother, Richard Beaton of Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Ann McKinnon Beaton, in 1989. An informal memorial service will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, May 30, at Lighthouse Christian Fellowship, 1620 Mesa Verde Ave., Ventura. All are welcome. Benchina, Joseph A Joseph A. Benchina Joseph A. Benchina, 83, of Roxboro Road, Mattydale, died Sunday at Veterans Medical Center after a long illness. A native of Port Allegany, Pa., Mr. Benchina resided most of his life in Mattydale. He retired 20 years ago from Braun Co. An Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Benchina was a member of Post 3146, VFW, and the South Side Post, American Legion. Surviving are his wife Anna Casalaspro; a sister, Lucy Nortz of Lowville; three Step-sons, Dave Kimpland of Dewitt, Frank Siedlicki of Liverpool and John Siedlicki of Baldwinsville; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Sears-Middleton Funeral home and 10 a.m. in St. Margaret's Church, both in North Syracuse. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Dewitt. Benchina, Mary Agnes Mary A. McDonald Mary A. McDonald, 68, of 116 Enda Road died Wednesday at Community-General Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Port Alleghany, Pa., Mrs McDonald lived in Syracuse 45 years. She was a communicant of St. James Church. She and her husband, Francis J., celebrated their 50th anniversary Feb. 25. Also surviving are a son, Thomas J. MacDonald of Syracuse; a daughter, Marlene Wendel of Lancaster; 15 grandchildren; a great grand-daughter; a brother, Joseph A. Benchina of Mattydale; a sister, Lucy Nortz of Lowville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. James Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
